| Zexion wears a long black cloak, just like the rest of Organization XIII. Although it zips down the middle, Zexion only zips his half way. The opening at the top of the cloak is parted, thus revealing a little chest. Zexion's hair is a blueish-purple colour. He always has his hair hanging, and covering the right side of his face. The back of his hair is fairly short, and slightly spikes out. His eyes are a dark shade of blue, and his facial expression usually gives off a calm look. |

| Zexion is a young nobody, and being that, he doesn't feel that he has any true feelings, due to the absence of his heart. Because of this, he doesn't really care about others. He does what's necessary, and remains loyal to his organization. Intelligent, and manipulative, Zexion isn't one to be taken lightly. He'll turn you against your friends, your family, and everyone you care about. |

| Organization XIII's number six. Zexion (ゼクシオン, Zekushion?), the "Cloaked Schemer", is a skilled manipulator by nature. His talents lie outside of battle. Zexion has the ability to identify individuals by their scent and is able to sense when they die by noticing their scents fading, and seems to be able to do so from great distances. He can also shapeshift. His power is over illusion, allowing him to mimic others' weapons and create duplicates of himself. His true weapon is a book. How and what he uses it for remains a mystery, since most haven't seen him use it as of yet. Zexion is a nobody, just like the rest of Organization XIII. Nobodies are creatures without hearts. They are leftovers existing as merely the body and soul of people who lost their hearts to darkness. As they lack hearts to possess light or darkness, they are shunned by both and are considered to be nothing. His original self was Ansem the Wise's youngest lab assistant, Ienzo (イエンツォ, Ientso?). He was the one that convinced Ansem the Wise that they should build an underground lab for research. During Zexion's time with Organization XIII, he was put under the operation of helping to obtain their goal, and was sent to Castle Oblivion to keep watch of the basement levels, along with fellow members Lexaeus and Vexen. Castle Oblivion was a place of losing and finding memories, which was a good strategy in taking control of Sora. During the events that took place in Castle Oblivion, Zexion informed Vexen and Lexaeus when he sensed two new scents in the lowest basement of Castle Oblivion. One of the scents was Maleficent, and he sensed that she had been eliminated by the other visitor, one with a scent "exactly similar" to that of the Superior's. With little information on what was happening, he and the others decided to await development. Not long after, he identified the other guest in the castle to be Riku. He observed the boy's progress through Castle Oblivion. He and Lexaeus decided to use Riku, just as Marluxia had planned to use Sora. During the unfolding events, Zexion saw that Riku was no longer needed and attempted to destroy Riku himself. He did not plan to use brute force, partly because of personal preference, and partly because Riku already won a battle with Lexaeus, one of the stronger Organization members. He lured Riku into a manifestation of Destiny Islands, Sora and Riku's home, in which Riku saw his friends disappear without saying a word. Zexion appeared and waged psychological war on Riku, telling him about how he threw away his friends and his home, opened the door to darkness, and destroyed his islands. Following Riku's battle with a Darkside heartless, Zexion used his power to disguise himself as Sora and attacked him, telling him that he's become nothing more than a pawn of the darkness. He engulfed Riku in light, but a vision of Kairi who was actually Naminé in disguise, managed to convince Riku to shed his fear of the darkness and accept both it and the light. With newfound strength, Riku followed Zexion's dark scent through the light and struck him, but Zexion escaped. He arrived back at the room which he was inhabiting, only to find Axel and Riku Replica waiting there for him. Upon Zexion's arrival, Axel commanded the replica to attack. What happened after that remains a blur. Zexion doesn't recall anything further. |
